ABOUT FREELANCING FLOW
READY TO BUILD AN AWESOME BIZ? YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.
I was EXHAUSTED from working crazy hours. at a job that didn’t pay well. (Full time, 5 PM-1 AM). All while in college and paying for my own tuition.
I knew that something had to change. So, I started applying for some jobs online. I had a LITTLE bit of experience writing, but to be honest, the stuff I had published online wasn’t great.
I certainly didn’t have any experience that most people would consider “professional”. Still, I decided to submit applications for as many paid internships as I could, and I crossed my fingers.
After sending DOZENS of applications, a company wrote back, and they were interested in working with me. As a contractor. (I didn’t have a clue what that meant). They only needed me part-time (10 hours) but I decided it was worth a shot. I said yes.
Suddenly, I was being paid to write blog content and social media posts from home. That’s when it hit me. If I could get one company to work with me part-time, I could get another.
Slowly, my business grew and before I knew it I was making more money than I EVER had before.
The problem? I was still in college, so even though my business was successful, I couldn’t work on it as much as I wanted to. Then, life gave me a reality check.
Quickly, it became obvious that the income I was making wouldn’t be enough to live on.
The methods I was using to get clients before didn’t give me much room to grow. Those paid “internships” I had were really my first clients, but I couldn’t label myself as an intern forever.
I either had to take MASSIVE ACTION or give up the freedom that came with being my own boss.
(I bet you can guess what happened next).
I made a change and went all-in on my business.
Now, I’m a full-time freelance copywriter, making more than I would be if I was working a traditional 9-5.
I’m not here to tell you that you can get rich quick being a freelancer, while sipping cocktails with your laptop on the beach
(WHY would anyone bring their laptop to the beach)?
It was hard work but that’s good news.
Because that means if you’re willing to work hard, you can be a successful freelancer too.
If you’re tired of being underpaid at a job you hate…
If you dread the sound of your alarm going off in the morning…
If wish you could run a business that works for YOU…

I’m here to help. Here’s to building a life & a business you love.
